How do you see your results?
On the IB candidate site. You need the personal identifier and PIN your coordinator gave you earlier in the year; if they have gone missing, your coordinator can reissue them, and only they can.

Results reached schools from 19:00 GMT on 16 December 2025. Students could see them six hours later, though each school sets its own time within the following 48 hours.

What time do they appear?
Schools get them first and decide when students can look, usually the same day or the next. Which hour that lands on depends on your time zone, so treat the day as the promise and the hour as a guess.

The grade looks wrong. Can it be checked again?
Yes. Your coordinator can request a remark of an externally assessed component, with a deadline a few weeks after results. A remark can move a grade either way, so it is worth knowing when it makes sense.

Can you resit a paper?
You can retake individual subjects in a later session, keeping the grades you are happy with. Most students who retake do it in the very next session, which is six months away.

What if the diploma has not been awarded?
It is recoverable more often than it feels on the day: a retake, a remark, or a different route into the university you wanted. What matters is deciding in the first fortnight, while the deadlines are still open.
What to do nextA grade short of what you needed?
